Today’s Relief Activities
a. KPK
(1) Army Engineers have established 4x Foot Bridges at Madyan, Kalam and Behrain
(2) Repair of Bridge at Bagh Deli (Swat) has been completed.
(3) Ali Masjid bridge at Khyber Agency on Pak-Torkham road has been repaired and traffic is restored.
(4) 3x PAF MI-17 helicopters dropped MREs in Kalam and surrounding areas and evacuated 34 individual.

FLOODS – 2010
(01 AUGUST EVENING)
1. Heavy rains during night 21/22 July affected Kohlu, Barkhan, Sibi and Dera Murad Jamali in Balochistan, additionally; damages have also been reported in District Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur in Punjab. In recent spell of rains districts of Peshawar, Swat, Nowshera, Dir Lower, Charsada in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Upper Neelam Valley in AJ&K have been badly affected.
